Blizzard Ridge is a coral and reef rim located close to the lighthouse at Exmouth in Australia. There are many crevices, caves, and overhangs at this dive site, which are full of diverse marine life. Amazing table corals are followed by large barrel sponges and staghorn corals.

When to go

It is possible to dive at Blizzard Ridge throughout the year, with an average water temperature of 24-28C/75-82F. The monsoon negatively affects visibility from early November to early January.

What to see

The fauna of Blizzard Ridge is presented by large pelagic fish, sea turtles, moray eels, stingrays, lionfish, and numerous tropical fish of all colors. Other inhabitants include leopard sharks, surgeonfish, pipefish, parrotfish, and anemones.
