The Boo Windows dive site, located off the tiny island of Boo, southeast of Misool Island, features an interesting underwater topography with a number of large swim-throughs, or so called windows that start to appear just below the sea surface. The reef around the islet gently slopes to 5-10m/16-33ft before it turns to a steep wall that drops sharply to a sandy bottom at a depth of around 35m/115ft. On the southern side of the reef divers will find a rocky plateau with an extended soft coral growth. The Boo islet itself is so small that it is possible to swim around it just in one dive.

When to go

The Boo Windows dive site is open for diving all year round. The annual water temperature averages at around 28C/82F.

What to see

Divers will enjoy exploring the large underwater windows at this site, and the diverse marine life that they will see throughout their dive includes colorful soft corals, some interesting nudibranchs, pigmi seahorses, lionfish, schooling batfish, and wobbegong sharks.
