Bunutan Wall is a dive site at Amed where divers go to see colorful macro life. It starts with a gentle slope and then turns into a steep wall covered by various beautiful corals. Drift diving is common at this site.
When to go
Diving is available year round. The best conditions to dive are between May and November. Air temperatures range from 23C/73F to 30C/86F. The average water temperature fluctuates between 24-29C/75-84F. The water visibility stays within 10-30m/33-98ft. The depth of the site is 10-40m/33-131ft. Currents can be strong.
What to see
The marine life around the site is very diverse and includes garden eels, sharks (black tip, white tip and an occasional hammerhead), barracudas, tuna, giant trevally and many different species of moray eels and rays.
