The Cathedral, also known as Gili Anak Ewok, is a dive site at Belongas Bay in Indonesia that is famous for its interesting topography. It includes a large pinnacle with two major peaks, and is known as a home to larger marine species.

When to go

Diving is available at the Cathedral at all times, but the season with the best conditions is from April to November. The temperature of water averages 27-30C/81-86F, while the air temperature is 26-28C/79-82F.

What to see

The most exciting species at the Cathedral are large schools of huge tuna, eagle rays, and great barracudas. There is an abundance of sea snakes and moray eels in this area. Smaller inhabitants of this dive site are parrotfish, trumpetfish, clownfish, blennies, nudibranchs, and angelfish.
