Scuba diving in Elephant Head Rock
Elephant Head Rock is named so because of a rock that is seen from the surface and resembles an elephant. The site is rated as one of the most spectacular dive site in the Similan Islands and even in Thailand. The site is composed of granite boulders and channels and full of diverse marine life.
When to go
The best period to dive is November to April. The average annual air temperature is 27C/80F. Water temperatures between 27-30C/80-86F.
What to see
Granite boulders, cave, whitetip reef sharks and leopard sharks, turtles.
