The wreck is located south of Pattaya, near Samea san. The wreck lays in the channel between Ko Samea and Ko Chuang. It is a steamer dating at the time of the Second World War. It was built in 1918 in Hong Kong and was sunk in May 1942 by the Allies. The Hardeep is 64 m/209ft long. The wreck is in good condition and there is a possibility of penetration but it is recommended to bring a flashlight. The site also offers good opportunities of macro photography.

When to go

The air temperature ranges between 28C/82F and 32C/90F and the water temperature stays about 29C/84F all year long. The best diving conditions fall between the months of December- March.

Wreck and a huge diversity of marine life, including Tusked fish, Bat-fish, Barracudas, Sweet-lips, Rabbit-fish, Angelfish,Turtles.
