Due to the volcanic nature of the area the underwater landscape features a lot of interesting rock formations. The range of sea life is wide. Divers get a chance to observe a variety of soft corals, star fish, sea horses, lobsters, nudibranchs and cushion sea stars. The average depth of the site is around 10m /32ft and maximum depth is close to 16m/53ft. Herradura is an amazing place for novice as well as advanced divers. Tourists also know this location as a great place for underwater photography. There are practically no currents and the water visibility is excellent, over 30m/98ft.

When to go

Diving is possible all year round. The water temperature varies between 23C/73F and 30C/86F throughout the year.
