The Jeladi Wilis is a perfect site for beginner divers just off the southwest coast of Bali, Indonesia, and is often used for diving courses. Its coral reef slopes down and is filled with healthy colorful coral formations and is teeming with marine life.

When to go

Diving at Jeladi Wilis can be done year round, but conditions are at their best from April to November during the dry season. During this time the air temperatures reach up to 30-35C/86-95F. The sea water temperature averages 25-26C/77-79F.

What to see

Divers will have a chance to explore a great variety of different types of corals on pinnacle and table formations at Jeladi Wilis. Scorpionfish, lionfish, cuttlefish, octopi, nudibranchs, shiny pufferfish, and blue-spotted stingrays are some of the smaller creatures that can be seen here.
