Pedra de Deu is a small rocky islet situated at the northernmost point of the island of Meda Gran, which is the biggest in the group of the Medes Islands. The dive site features a beautiful wall that begins at a depth of around 20m/66ft and goes down to some 40m/131ft deep to a sandy sea bed. Descending along the wall, divers will see beautiful gorgonians and a variety of interesting marine species that like to hide in little crevices and holes on the wall. Closer to the sea bottom, divers can find a little cave and see a lot of lobsters hiding among the rocks at the cave entrance.

When to go

Divers can dive at this dive site any time of the year. However, the most comfortable diving conditions are during the summer, when the water temperature rises to 25-26C/77-79F. In winter the water temperature can drop to 13-14C/55-57F.

What to see

While exploring the wall, divers will see beautiful corals and sea fans, conger eels, lobsters, sea bream, groupers and other marine species.
