This site features a wall and a shallow section that provide different options for divers. The northern tip of the reef is the most interesting, but the best time to dive it is when the current is flowing from south to north. The slope at the northern point is almost vertical, with numerous caves and cracks that cut through the reef. The top of the slope is at 20m/65ft depth and then it goes down to deeper waters.

When to go

Diving is pleasant throughout the year. The water temperature varies between 24C/75F and 30C/86F through the most of the year. There is a hurricane season that usually lasts from June to October-November, however, divers can still find plenty of opportunities to dive at this time of year too.

What to see

Squirrelfish, pairs of angelfish and parrotfish can be approached hear fairly easily. About halfway through the dive, divers will run into bright, beautiful sponges and coral heads with nice overhangs. Inside divers can observe schools of porkfish, schoolmasters and french grunts. There is a big green moray eel in one of the most prominent overhangs.
