Puri Jati is an interesting dive site in Sererit, Indonesia. Divers have plenty of opportunities to watch marine creatures swarming around. Tiny reef inhabitants always attract macro-photographers for diving in the place. Night dives are also great here.

When to go

Climate is tropical in Sererit. Average annual air temperatures are 26-28C/78-82F and water temperatures are 28-31C/82-86F. The most advisable period for diving is winter as there is less rainfall.

What to see

Marine life in Puri Jati is represented by pipefish, seahorse, cuttlefish, squid, shrimps, anemones, juvenile batfish, nudibranches, eels, lionfish, turtles and barracudas. The peculiarity of scuba-diving in the area is the amount of mimic octopi.
