The site features an underwater pinnacle, with its summit at about 25m below the surface. The maximum depth is 60m/197ft. This dive is best suited for CMAS**/AOW divers. Sunken Island gives shelter to large schools of jacks, sponges and gorgonians. Divers also can spot barracudas, lion fish, snappers, groupers, frogfish, scorpion fish, big tuna, all kinds of reef fish and the occasional shark.

When to go

It is possible to dive all year round, but the best time to come here is from December to June. Coldest month is January and warmest month is May. The average air temperature is 30C/86F. The water temperature ranges from 27C/80F to 30C/86F. The water visibility stays within 10m/33ft to 40m/131ft range.
