Located on the northern side of the island of Menjangan in front of a temple, Temple Point is a dive site with a steep slope and sheer drop-off. It has a beautiful coral reef and rocky bottom that is full of various species.

When to go

It is possible to dive at Temple Point year-round, but the months from May to November bring the best diving conditions. The average water temperature is 27-29C/81-84F, and the air is typically 30-32C/86-90F.

What to see

Temple Point serves is a habitat for blacktip sharks, stingrays, moray eels, grouper, scorpionfish, porcupinefish, and octopi. Other inhabitants of this site include flatworms, triggerfish, cardinalfish, nudibranchs, wrasses, and blennies, which live among the colorful corals and sponges of all shapes.
