The Pit is a giant sink hole in the Dos Ojos park in Mexico. It's a huge vertical drop that has the deepest known cave entrance in the area located at 120m/400ft. At 27m/88ft there is a spectacular cloud of hydrogen sulphate. This site is incredibly beautiful in the summer time when a wall of sun beams shining down to 30m/100ft. There is an entrance fee of $20 US that divers have to pay to do this dive. Diving the Pit Cenote is only for AOW Scuba divers.
