The Victory Wreck is an 80m/262ft-long cargo ship that sank in 1981 in North Malé Atoll in the Maldives. It sank while on its way from Singapore carrying goods for the resorts on the islands. Usually divers start and finish their dive set at main mast. On the way back divers can look down and enjoy the entire panorama of the wreck.

When to go

Diving at the Victory Wreck is possible from December to May, with the best immersion conditions from late May to July. June to November is the low season period here. The water temperature is consistent at 26-29C/79-84F.

What to see

Beautiful corals, schools of trevallies, turtles, grouper, batfish, pufferfish, lionfish, soldierfish, and hawkfish can be seen. There are nudibranchs and pipefish on the stern of the ship.
