This site is favored by a number of diving operations and it gets particularly busy along the outer reefs. This is a particularly nice dive and its popularity is well deserved. Current can be met, but the numerous large overhangs and tunnels across the reef offer plenty of protection for divers wanting to explore its recesses.

When to go

Diving is possible all year round. The average water temperature remains around 25-27C/77-80F.

What to see

Large coral buttresses jut out and form a convoluted, scalloped outer reef edge with numerous gullies and swim throughs. Like most of the outer reefs, Yucab Wall does not have many fish, but divers may spot here such fish as barracuda and black grouper.
