Newly constructed boat. Spa on the main deck. Up to 4 dives per day are planned. Nitrox is included in the price.

Boat Interior 
The boat has 13 cabins that can accommodate up to 26 divers. 5 staterooms with a double and a single bed and 2 cabins with a double bed are located on the lower deck. 2 rooms on the main deck also have double and single beds. 2 upper deck cabins have double beds and the other 2 rooms on this deck can be shared or booked with double occupancy. All cabins are ensuite and have air conditioning. 
Enjoy open-air diving or stay at an airconditioned salon on the main deck. Boat guests can also relax at the sun deck on the upper deck. 

Diving 
Emperor Explorer is equipped with a spacious dhoni. All diving gear and compressors are stored there. 

Photo Equipment 
The boat has special facilities for underwater photographers' camera tables and a separate rinsing tank. 

Itinerary features 
All the best diving destinations of Maldives can be visited on board Emperor Explorer. The best of Maldives itinerary includes central atolls. You can dive on the manta cleaning station and experience drift dives. The boat offers trips to the deep south of Maldives. This destination is not as crowded as other Maldives destinations. It is featured great chances to meet whale sharks, grey reef sharks, and oceanic blacktip sharks. 

When to Go 
November starts the best time to dive on Central Atolls. The visibility is good, and chances to meet big pelagics are the best. Diving on deep south atolls is available all year round. From December to May water temperature is at its lowest, but still very comfortable around 24 C (75 F)

One of the best diving trips I've ever been on. And look, I've done a lot. The boat is incredibly spacious! I had never seen anything like it. And in addition to all this space, the entire diving operation is done on another smaller boat that navigates along with the main boat. The diversity of marine life and the beauty of the itinerary are impressive! I had never seen so many manta rays in my life. And they still come to visit you at night on the boat. Lots of other big animals too, like different types of sharks, which I really like.

Wonderful week of shark Verified review
I've been with Emperor fleet a few times in the Central Maldives. It was my second time in deep south Maldives, first time with Explorer (deep south) Cabin and facilities are great, just it was the first time to use upper deck twin room and it feels a bit small for two single beds - I could not open my suitcase. Food and service were great, they will try their best to assist all the guests. I didn’t have luck to see a lot of sharks as I expected, but still dive guides were trying very hard to find some pelagic, it will be pure luck of the day. Everything in the boat was excellent, but just downside of domestic flight schedule was unsuitable for all guests. Arrived in Male airport in the morning and my domestic flight scheduled late evening - they managed to change it to the afternoon flight. Later, also coming back to Male, domestic flight schedule was 6am - for this reason I missed two of last dives - I was not happy about this also, some of the other guests as well. The team told us that the airline gave them only those time slot, but hopefully next time you can get better timing, then the trip will be great. Thanks anyways for a wonderful week of diving. Someone who wants to see a lot of pelagic shark joining the trip will never be disappointed. I Hope I can do it again sometime soon. Thank you Explorer team!
