Salila is a modern premium class vessel. She offers to discover the greatest treasures of Indonesia, explore its coral reefs and mountains, visit Indonesian villages, feel traditions of this country.
Boat Interior
Salila liveaboard can offer accommodation to 20 passengers. There are standard 8 cabins with double and twin beds. All with private showers and plenty of storage facilities. There are also 2 master suites, located on the upper deck. These rooms feature with big bathrooms and a TV with DVD.
Salila features with a few relaxation zones. In between or after dives Salila’ passengers can relax in the lounge zone. Here boat’s passengers can watch a movie on a flat-screen TV. Another perfect place to relax is boat bar, where you can taste some cocktail and wine. One of the most popular places on a board of Salila is Sky Lounge with a large seating area. On a spacious sun, deck divers will find a big open-air jacuzzi and a few sunbeds.
Safety
Safety is one of the main priorities for the Salila crew team. Its members know first aid procedures. The boat has all necessary safety equipment including first aid kit, life vests, and emergency rafts.
Dive deck
Salila dive deck is spacious. Divers will be comfortable during the preparation for the dive. The convenient diving platform can be lowered to the sea. You can use numerous of storage boxes for the gear and a hanging area for wet suites. There are two compressors and availability of using nitrox on board.
Land excursions and other non-diving activities
Salila can offer not only great diving adventures. Boat passengers can explore small Indonesian villages, enjoy gorgeous landscapes and try delicious food at a beach barbeque. Salila offers also kayaking, banana boats, wakeboard and SUP paddle board.
Basic Itinerary
Salila itineraries include diving at Raja Ampat, Komodo National Park. These two Indonesian destinations are the most famous between divers. Komodo island is underwater mountains, reefs, and caves. Here you will find lots of extraordinary fish and some pelagics. Gorgonian fans, sponges, hard and soft corals make underwater landscapes of Komodo colorful and vivid. This destination is great for macro diving. There is a big amount of pygmy seahorses and nudibranchs here. Raja Ampat has one of the richest marine life. This destination holds world’s record of a number of fish and corals that can be seen during one dive. Reef sharks, groupers, dolphins, rays and even rare wobbegongs can be spotted.
When to go
Komodo diving is possible all year round. High season begins in April and lasts until August. As for Raja Ampat, the best time to visit its dive sites is from October until April.
