Croatia, situated in Southeast Europe, is a popular tourist destination in Europe. Croatia has an impressive history, and most towns, including Dubrovnik, Hvar, and Pula, have a rich cultural legacy with typical architecture. When to go to Croatia

The climate is Mediterranean, although there are some variations within climate zones - it is several degrees cooler on the north of the island and in the interior rather than in the coast area. Most rainfall is seen in the period from October to February. Croatian high diving season lasts from May to October. The average air temperature varies from 6 to 26C/42-78F. Water temperature averages around 25C/77F in summer and around 12C/54F in winter. The visibility is mostly good, on average 20m/65ft. The currents may vary, but generally are slight. In Croatia, every diver has to purchase a Croatian Diver's Card before diving, which is valid for 12 months everywhere in Croatia. The rich and varied marine life includes numerous species of bright tropical fish, mammals, sea urchins, algae, octopus, barracuda, moray eels, dogfish, large grouper, tuna, giant turtles, crayfish, shiny lobster, white bream, bluefish, dolphins, greater amberjacks, parrotfish and beautiful corals, anemones, sponges, gorgonians.
